These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GauntletScore API and related services ("Service") provided by Genstrata, Inc. ("Genstrata," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
GauntletScore is an AI-powered document and code verification service. The Service analyzes submitted text for factual accuracy, citation integrity, regulatory compliance, and code safety using adversarial multi-agent debate technology. The Service produces a Gauntlet Score, a detailed transcript of the analysis, and a cryptographically signed Gauntlet Verification Certificate.
You must register for an account and obtain an API key to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API key and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your API key.
API keys are non-transferable. Each API key is associated with a single account. Sharing API keys between organizations or individuals is prohibited.
You may use the Service to:

The Service operates on a credit-based pricing model. Your first analysis is provided at no charge. Additional analyses require purchased credits. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Pricing is published at gauntletscore.com and may be updated with 30 days' notice.
The Gauntlet system is protected by pending patent (USPTO #63/967,169) and applicable intellectual property laws. The Service, including its architecture, scoring methodology, agent personas, and verification tools, is the proprietary technology of Genstrata, Inc.
You retain all rights to the documents and code you submit for analysis. Genstrata does not claim ownership of your submitted content.
Analysis transcripts and Gauntlet Scores are licensed to you for your use, including sharing with third parties (courts, auditors, clients, etc.) together with the associated Verification Certificate.
Documents submitted for analysis are processed in memory and are not stored permanently after the analysis completes. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data we retain and how it is handled.
Verification results (whether specific citations are debunked, verified, or inconclusive) may be retained in anonymized form in our Knowledge Layer to improve the accuracy and speed of future analyses for all users. This anonymized data contains no customer-identifiable information, document text, or proprietary content.
The Service provides AI-assisted verification. It is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, or security review. Gauntlet Scores and verification results are produced by AI models and automated tools that, while rigorously tested, are not infallible.
Genstrata does not guarantee that the Service will identify every error, fabrication, or security vulnerability in submitted content. The Service may produce false positives (flagging accurate content as suspicious) or false negatives (missing inaccurate or dangerous content).
Users should treat Gauntlet Scores as one input in their decision-making process, not as the sole basis for critical decisions.
Gauntlet Verification Certificates cryptographically attest that a specific Gauntlet Score was produced by the GauntletScore system for a specific document at a specific time. Certificates can be independently verified using Genstrata's published public key.
Fabricating, modifying, or misrepresenting Gauntlet Verification Certificates is a violation of these Terms and may constitute fraud under applicable law.
We aim to provide continuous Service availability but do not guarantee uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GENSTRATA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
GENSTRATA'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO GENSTRATA IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Genstrata, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your API keys will be deactivated and unused credits will be forfeited. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13) shall survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Forsyth County, North Carolina.
